The non-conformity of our States with the rules laid down by the formerly dominant ideologies will never win us the favour of the hegemonic conglomerate of arsonists-fire-fighters-mediators-lesson givers, plenipotentiaries of the exploits of a certain international community with variable geometry.
It is this military-industrial, intellectual and cultural complex that is using media platforms to spread its slander, defamation and other criminal injunctions against the African initiative of reconciling the apparent protagonists of war in Europe. In its eyes, Africa is guilty of a double foul, the history of which is unknown.
The first of these so-called errors was the refusal of a significant number of African countries to conform to the Manichaeism that required choosing one side between the Eastern European belligerents, with any middle way considered at best an alternative and at worst a prohibition. For some, this was a way of reviving the methods of a bygone era and trying to perpetuate the supremacy of their outdated ideas.
However, by resolutely refusing to bark with the pack, Africa intends to assert its right to misalignment, in other words, its right to a different, non-contingent opinion, without this being considered secondary, in the disdainful and derogatory sense of the word “alternative”. Obviously, such an attitude is nothing less than blatant disobedience and, at the same time, an extremely serious offence.
Not satisfied with this incongruity, African leaders went so far as to lead a goodwill mission to the belligerents of the North Pole. This change of position was perceived by the usual mediators on duty as an act of profound greed. The crime of betrayal could not go unpunished.
