Cameroon – Honor and Loyalty : WAGNER VERSUS MOZART: Duel between two great 18th & 19th century composers???
Mozart versus Wagner. Wagner versus Mozart. Anideal duel between two composers who never met during their lifetime, each having marked a different era. And for the 18th and 19th centurylovers of classical music, the impossible confrontation would enter into the anals of history. Impossible confrontation because our two characters were more inclined to refining morals than to instigating wars.
Unfortunately for these great masters, their names are now associated with companies that have as social objective to promote armed violence. Mozart and Wagner are, in fact, two private military companies that are trending and dealing with armed operations, as others would with raw materials. This is done from the territory of a Northern hemisphere whose powers boast of holding the monopoly on legitimate violence globally.
It is a restrictive concept common to all States, but clearly being challenged by anintense and limitless liberalisation, which seems to have set itself the objective of stripping the State of a good portion of its most exclusive prerogatives, notably the ability to wage war.For unlike the traditional mercenarism that legal governments have always denounced, even though they have often allowed it to happen, the new trend is characterised by the outright formalisation of the privatisation of acts of war.
Henceforth, and as at present on the theatrein Eastern Europe where Mozart and Wagner clash alongside the regular forces, in a thunderous atmosphere maintained by the blairing sirene of the Stalin’s and the HIMARS, the vibrating staccato of machine guns and the muffled percussions of cannons, private military companies registered in the commercial books would be entitled to offer services,to acquire armaments from governments, as part of public or privatecontracts.
One of the most formidable consequences of this commercialisation of the principle of sovereignty, which is the use of legitimate violence, will be to see individuals or corporations worldwide naturally hiring the services of war contractors, in order to appropriate portions of territories, in gross violation of legally enshrined sovereignties. If there is any war, it can be challenged in the courts, but we have to find ways to eliminate this situation on the ground.
Of course, the vocational inversion and reputational piracy suffered by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Richard Wagner are only the tip of an iceberg of shenanigans aimed at dismantling the ideological and cultural fundamentals on which our humanity has been based from time immemorial. Thus, it is now possible to choose, or even change one’s gender as one would clothes, to take only this example.
Moreover, futurists, theorists, legal practitioners, and Defence and Security Forces must ensure that our countries do not find themselves in the position of capability minority, faced with transnational warfare industries whose greed will only be limited by the financial firepower of their sponsors.
Let us remain vigilant. /-
