Cameron - Honor and Loyalty : SECURITY IN THE NORTHWEST: calm and level-headedness of government

Calmness and level-headedness. These are the elements characterising the attitude of the governing authorities of Cameroon since the tragicup heavals recently noted in the security situation in the administrative region of the North-West. It is in vain that one would have expected thunderous declarations promising the flames of hell to the rippers of our valiant soldiers. It is in vain thatwe have predicted chaos in the areas plagued by the vermin of the so-called separatist terrorism.

It is to no avail that a certain world radio will have praised the terrorists' paying strategy, as if to endorse previously suspected collusions. However, neither the umpteenth provocation of ourenemies, nor the media boast, will have succeeded in tipping our government into the trap of blind retaliation, which is clearly set for it.

It must besaidthat the tact of our authorities and the mastery of our Defence and Security Forces seriously disconcert the entrepreneurs of confusion who swear by the governance of bloodbath.

Because unlikewhatis happening in other skies facedwithsimilarcircumstances, the provocation to escalationinitiated by armedterrorist groups through the use of heavyweaponsagainst forces on a lawenforcementmission ,willonly have received a reminder of the instructions, for more vigilance on the operational environment and more proportionality and discrimination in the application of possible fires.
