Drama that occurred in BACHUO NTAI by Mamfe: no loss of human life recorded

House allegedly burnt down by the DSF in BACHUO NTAÏ, Mamfe, Manyu Division

Recently, an insidious campaign orchestrated by obscurantist terrorist propaganda supported by certain media in the pay of secession, has reported an alleged destruction by fire of a house wrongly suspected of sheltering secessionist fighters in the South-West Region.

The facts thus attributed to elements of the Defence and Security Forces took place during the night of Monday 6 to Tuesday 7 December 2021 in the village of Bachuo-Ntai, Mamfe Sub-division, Manyu Division, South-West Region.

It is not so. Absolutely nothing.

Indeed, the descend carried out by elements of the Mamfe Gendarmerie Company on December 7, 2021 in the locality of Bachuo-Ntai revealed that, the fire was actually the consequence of the explosion of a large adulterated fuel stock stored in the home of Miss Achu Christina, born on October 16, 1993 in Okoyong.

The balance sheet shows no loss of human life.

Miss Achu Christina was kept in police custody at the Mamfe Gendarmerie Company for the purpose of investigation that was opened immediately, which will undoubtedly make it possible to unravel the ins and outs of this adulterated fuel traffic that supplies criminal cohort of the forests of Mamfe and the neighbouring localities./-
