Cameroon 2021- Honor and Fidelity : Respect and consideration for the Defence and Security Forces
The weekly Editorial of the program "Honor and Fidelity" retransmits the courage of the Defense and Security Forces and the Army-Nation concept as a whole. The Head of the Communication Division of the Ministry of Defense (MINDEF), Navy Captain Cyrille Serge Atonfack Guemo, highlights this initiative to protect property and people.
"The year has changed, but we still have to get rid of the two parasites that currently stick to our skin, undermine our security, and therefore hamper the full expression of our power of action in the vast construction site of development. One of these scourges is unquestionably of human origin. It was born from the design of some of our compatriots, most of whom stay abroad, to import and reproduce in Cameroon, the calamitous wave of partisan violence in the colours of seasons unknown under our skies.
For these opportunistic agitators living on parasitism, Cameroon on the way to its emergence would be an apple now ripe enough to be picked and auctioned, bit by bit. It is also well known that the support of multinationals in terms of the splitting up of states is the opposite of charity work. The incitement to disloyalty to the Fatherland, the destruction of social amenities, the abuse of the vulnerability of populations, the incessant calls for complicit interventionism seemed to have opened wide the doors of the El Dorado.
While being astonishingly crude, the illusion was however too good not to succumb to some gullible people. However, according to the crimes perpetrated against innocent schoolchildren, it finally emerged that the pseudo separatist aspiration in the North-West and South-West regions was in reality only a self-realizing prophesy, in other words, an imposture tending to present as consequences, the sequences of a pre-established plan for the dismantling of a portion of our country.
After a moment of hesitation in the dizzying storm of lies and oppression, our brave populations accustomed to freedom will realize a spectacular turnaround, which irresistibly continues its work of depopulating the ranks of sham. This tremendous patriotic recovery of our populations inspires these words from the President of the Republic, HE Paul Biya, when he said, in his message to the Nation on the evening of December 31, 2020 : `` This is the place to congratulate the patriotic attitude of those of our fellow citizens of the North West and South West who, not only, cooperate more and more with the Defence and Security Forces, but also undertake to fight courageously against these armed bands. They realized that these people are not acting in the best interests of the people.” End of quote.
This observation by the Head of State serves as a progress report. In the epic struggle against the plans to partition the cradle of our ancestors, the omens remain irreversibly in favour of the Nation. However, the fight will have to continue, as long as there remains, both on our soil and in our society, the slightest metastasis of divisionist cancer.
The same is true of the coronavirus scourge, which not content with having substantially affected our lifestyle to the point of modifying it, tends to permanently settle in our environment and our bodies. The cancellations, first in May 2020, of the celebrations of National Unity, and more recently this week, of the eminently diplomatic ceremony for the presentation of New Year's wishes to the President of the Republic, attest to the seriousness of the health situation, as well as the dangerousness of COVID-19.
The remarkable resistance so far opposed to the deadly pandemic, is therefore called to strengthen, especially as other mutations of the virus significantly more virulent than the previous ones, and are announced in the next waves of this health crisis that plunged the entire planet in a strategic and politico-economic fog.
Faced with these security and health perils, your Defence and Security Forces will relentlessly bear the impact, fighting side by side alongside our valiant people of Cameroon, until the enemy is completely and totally surrendered.
As a final thought for the road, here's for everyone, another words from the President of the Republic, when he said in his message to the Nation on December 31, 2020: `` I would also like to salute here the bravery of our Defence and Security Forces who have not failed in their duty to protect the integrity of the national territory, people and goods. They deserve the respect and consideration of all. I encourage them to persevere and remain a republican force, respectful of human rights ".
It is up to each gendarme, infantryman, aviator, sailor, firefighter, to understand the letter and the spirit of the mission contained in this permanent agenda of the Chief of the Armed Forces !" Has he finished.
